Key Steps to Recording an Expense (once your bank account, credit card, or cash account has been set up):

1. Press the record button.
2. State the category name (e.g., 'Housing' or 'Food') and optionally include the store name and/or payment account if previously used (e.g., 'Wal-Mart Food Credit-card'). Speak distinctly without any background noise and allow slight pauses between words.
3. Click on the "Finish" button. A pop-up window will appear where you can input or modify three details: 1) Date of expense, 2) Category of the expense recorded (to be corrected if not identified correctly by 'Expense Tracker Recorder'), with the expense amount beside it in most cases being the only necessary input, 3) Payment method details (account, payment type, and currency will typically auto-fill).
